So....first off....DC and NY totally sucked. Not their fault. My dad is un-travel-with-able<--new word!

So that aside, I've been doing some hard core catching up on my school work. EVERYTHING is due on wedensday. Yes. Everything. Including ....THE WORLD!!





But I decided to take Saturday as my "day off"......even though I worked in the morning. That's the kind of logic you can have when you work at Starbucks and are used to going in at 4am and leaving around 9:30am.

So I went to see The Forbidden Kingdom with and Rachel and Jen. Man.....I haven't laughed that hard at a movie that wasn't a Will Ferrel movie in a LOOOONG time.
It was so delightfully horrible. But in a good way. Does that make sense?
The fighting was fun and entrancing. The fight between Jet li and Jackie Chan was like....the pinnacle of my action movie watching life.
And I stand by the fact that as shitty as that movie was....it would have been A MILLION TIMES BETTER had the main character not been THE FUCKING UGLIEST PERSON EVER TO GO ON SCREEN.
You could have had Steve Buscemi do his role and it wouldn't have been as bad. Jesus christ.
(nevermind the fact the plot was littered with holes. and there was no real character development at all. and the engrish was so hilariously bad. and I couldn't understand half of what they were saying because they were forced to speak in English in mystical ancient china where no one logically should speak english, much less random young EPICFAIL I'm gonna talk in third person until the end of the movie and no one gives a shit that I finally say "I" for the first time because everyone is too busy laughing at how fucking ugly the main character actor was whose name I don't even remember because whenever Jackie or Jet Li were on screen I was like *_* teeheeeeee.....wait what was I ranting about?)











Uh...I sorta got lost on a tangent. Oh yeah. It was very nostalgic of all those horrible 90s movies like Karate Kid or Surf Ninjas or.....yeah it was just Retro bad. But the saving grace of that entire movie.
The reason I will probably buy it on DVD when it comes out because I'm a huge fagtard dork.






Jet Li as Monkey King. I fangirled HARD. CORE. And literally the entire rest of the night all of us were doing his Monkey King Statue pose and I kept screaming UKIIIII~!!!

So yes. Go see it. It was a fun movie. Just.....don't focus too much on the plot, or the bad english, or the Quasimodo that plays the main character who is such a fucking pussy that I hated my life when he was on screen. Especially with his retarded time-lapse "My hair is long now but only this teeny tiny ponytail in the back" hair.



AND WHO THE FUCK WANTS TO GO BACK TO BOSTON WHEN YOU'RE LIVING IN MYTSICAL ANCIENT CHINA!? Dorothy and Alice both had reasons to go home. BUT NOT YOU YOU FUCKING UGLY SHIT FACE GROSS DROOPY PUDDING FACE BASTARD!!!


God I hated that kid.
